The Supplication of Infinite Blessings

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"The supplication of a Muslim for his (Muslim) brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: 'Ameen! May it be for you, too'."  [Muslim]

Now, imagine receiving the immense blessings of having millions of believers making a special supplication for you every single day, and then having Angels say 'Ameen! to all their supplications. With The Supplication of Infinite Blessings, this blessed gift becomes a reality for YOU...

Now before we get into what The Supplication of Infinite Blessings is and how it can open up doors of immeasurable blessings, mercies, and favors for you, let’s first take a moment to understand why supplication itself holds such a powerful place in Islam. For it is through supplication that our hearts connect to its Loving Creator!

The Significance of Dua (Supplication) in Islam

Supplication is more than just a request; it is, at its core, one of the greatest favors and gifts bestowed upon us by Allah, Al-Wadud (The Most Loving), Al-Kareem (The Most Generous). Within it lies a beautiful truth—the power to positively transform every aspect of your life, both in this world and the Hereafter, without limit! For the ONE who responds to the supplication of the supplicant is without limit—He is Al-Mujeeb (The Responsive One), Al-Wasi' (The All-Encompassing), and Dhul-Jalali wal-Ikram (The Possessor of Majesty and Honor)

Know that your Rabb (Lord) loves when you call upon Him, for He is always near and never tires of hearing you. No matter how often you call upon Him, His mercy is infinite, and His response is guaranteed. Allah says:

"And when My "worshipers" ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me..." (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186)

Just as a helpless child instinctively reaches out to its mother for comfort, the human heart was created to turn to Allah in times of need and gratitude. What makes supplication so beloved to Allah is not merely that it is a means of asking, but that it is, in itself, one of the highest acts of worship. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 

"Supplication is worship." (Tirmidhi)

Every sincere supplication is a profound act of devotion that brings you closer to Allah. And because Allah is Al-Karim (The Most Generous), no supplication is ever lost. The Prophet (ﷺ) assured us that every supplication is accepted in one of three ways:

• Allah immediately grants you what you ask for.

• He delays it for the Hereafter

• An evil or calamity equal to it is averted from you . (Musnad Ahmad)

So in reality, none of your sincere supplications are ever lost. Imagine this: A person might call upon Allah 100 times for something they deeply desire in this world, and only on the 100th time does Allah grant what they’ve asked for. But those previous 99 supplications were not in vain—no, they are treasures of mercy and protection. Every single supplication is accounted for, and even when you don’t see it, each one is shaping your fate.

Those 99 supplications are used to protect you from harms you couldn’t even imagine, to guard you against calamities that were destined to touch you. And when you stand before Allah on the Day of Judgment, those 99 supplications will be presented to you as gifts beyond anything this world could offer, lasting forever in the Hereafter.

So while you may receive what you’ve asked for in this world, you also receive something far greater—eternal protection, mercy, and rewards that surpass every expectation. Your supplications are never just requests; they are keys to infinite blessings and the means by which Allah’s mercy pours into your life. 

Yet, the power of supplication does not end with your own supplications. When you invite and guide others toward the act of supplication, you unlock a whole new dimension of reward.

In Islam, encouraging others to perform acts of worship carries immense blessings. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who does it." (Sahih Muslim, 1893)

Every time you inspire someone to raise their hands in supplication, their supplications bring you a share of their reward without reducing their blessings. This reward is not limited to this life, it continues to benefit you even after you have left this temporary world. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuous charity, knowledge from which people benefit, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Sahih Muslim, 1631) 

By inviting and guiding others to the act of supplication, you create a Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) that flows with blessings long after your life in this world ends. Every supplication you inspire multiplies your reward in ways only Allah can measure.

Now, even though Allah who is As-Sami’ (The All-Hearing), hears every supplication directly, He has still created and appointed Angels whose task is to be present, listen to, and say Ameen to the supplications believers make for one another in their absence.

But why would Allah, who is Al-Qareeb (The Most Close), As-Sami’ (The All-Hearing), and Al-Mujeeb (The Most Responsive), appoint these Angels when He Himself hears every word, every plea, and every whisper?

It is not because He needs them, far from it. Rather, it is to show you just how precious and honored your supplications truly are, especially when they are made selflessly for others.

How honored we are that when we sincerely pray for the benefit of others, we attract the presence of beings of pure light and mercy—Angels who fill our spaces and homes with blessings, and who respond to our kindness with their own prayer: ‘Ameen, and for you the same.’

And what’s even more amazing about the mercy and generosity of our beloved Creator—Allah—is this: When you invite and guide others to supplicate, every prayer they make because of you becomes a continuous source of goodness, returning to you in ways you could not even imagine. Each sincere supplication you inspire multiplies your reward—creating a profoundly positive ripple effect that not only impacts this life, but extends into eternity, where the blessings you receive are limitless.

This is a means of Allah’s encouragement and an incentive to the believers for strengthening their bond of brotherhood, love, mercy and generosity towards one another.  Allah is Al-Aḥad (ONE) and wants unity and love within the ummah. As The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."

(Sahih al-Bukhari 13, Sahih Muslim 45)

Now everything you’ve just read is only a glimpse—a mere reflection of the immense reality of supplication. The true measure and beauty of supplication stretches far beyond what words can capture, reaching realms of mercy, blessings, and divine response that are beyond human comprehension.

Spanning 23 core supplications, 5 closing supplications, and an essential niyyah (intention). It covers forgiveness, health, protection, guidance, provision, love, family unity, success, salvation, and easy entry into Jannatul Firdows.

It's also important to note that one of the primary reasons why this supplication is so impactful is because it's carefully chosen words and phrases hold immense power. Let's elaborate on this a bit further...  

The Power and Intention Behind Every Word 

Words and phrases carry deep meaning and power. This is true not only from a linguistic or psychological perspective, but also from an Islamic one. In Islam, words are not just sounds—they are carry our intention. As Rasulullah (ﷺ) said:

“Actions are judged by their intentions…” (Bukhari & Muslim)

Speaking, and more specifically supplicating, is an action. And it is through this action that our intentions are carried to the Allah, Al Qrebul Mujeeb (The Close and Most Responsive)

Every individual supplication within The Supplication of Infinite Blessings was carefully crafted by its compilers with sincere intention and heartfelt longing for what is being asked.  The emotional power embedded in these words can be deeply felt by anyone who reflects upon their meanings. When you read each supplication and truly contemplate what it would mean to have it answered, the experience transforms—it becomes personal, emotional, and spiritually empowering.

The Role of Allah’s Names — Tawassul Through Divine Attributes 

Another thing that makes each individual supplication so significant is that, you'll notice that each supplication intentionally includes multiple Names of Allah that correspond to the nature of the request being made.

For example:

• When seeking forgiveness, the Names Al-Ghaffar, Al-Afuww, and At-Tawwab are invoked.

• For healing, Names like Ash-Shafi, Ya Hafiz, and Ya Qawiyy appear.

• In requests for wealth and provision, the Names Ar-Razzaaq, Al-Kareem, and Al-Fattah are used.

This is no coincidence. It is a deeply rooted and intentional act of what scholars call Tawassul.

Tawassul, in this context, means to seek closeness to Allah by calling upon Him using His specific Names that relate to your request. 

It’s based on the Qur’anic command:

"And to Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, so call upon Him by them." 

(Surah Al-A'raf, 7:180)

When you say, “Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem” in a plea for mercy, you are not just stating Allah’s Names—you are expressing  presence of heart and your awareness of Who you are calling upon, and why He is the most appropriate One to answer your need. This enhances your sincerity, increases your focus, and spiritually aligns your request with Divine Mercy.

In essence, the Names of Allah act as keys—each unlocking a specific door of divine response. And when those names are matched to the precise nature of the supplication, the connection becomes more powerful and intimate.

Structure of Each Individual Supplication

Now when we combine the emotional power embedded in the words and phrases with the Names of Allah specifically used for each individual supplication, the result is an act of supplication and worship that feels sincere and heartfelt. The words, put together with care, carry a longing that makes you feel truly connected to what you’re asking for. Calling on Allah’s attributes reminds you of who you’re calling upon and that He is Al Mujeeb, the One who always answers when called upon, helping to create within you a state of awe, gratitude, and humility.

But there’s one more vital piece that ties it all together, strengthening your supplication by ensuring you understand what you’re saying. This is captured in the saying of Rasulullah (ﷺ):

"Call upon Allah while being certain of His response, and know that Allah does not respond to a supplication from a heart that is heedless and distracted."

(Tirmidhi 3479, Hasan by al-Albani)

This Hadith highlights why it’s so important to grasp the meaning of your supplication. That’s why the compilers of The Supplication of Infinite Blessings included each supplication in three forms: English, Arabic, and Arabic transliteration. You only need to read the English—it’s there to help you understand every word.

When you know and understand what you’re saying, your supplication feels real, and your intention carries true weight. Reading the English keeps your mind clear and focused on what you’re requesting, so you’re not just reciting words but actually speaking to Allah with a heart that’s present. This helps avoid what the Hadith warns against: a heedless or distracted heart. The Arabic is there for those who understand it or wish to read it too, but the key is understanding—because that’s what brings everything together and deepens your supplication.

Niyah (Intention)

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytaan (Satan). 

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Qaribul Mujeeb (O Close and Most Responsive), Ya Rahim (O Most Merciful), Ya Kareem (O Most Generous), You are always near to us, ready to respond to our calls with Your infinite mercy, compassion and generosity. I make the intention of the recitation of this Dua (supplication) not only for myself but also for those who have compiled it, for those who share it and recite it, and for those who receive and recite it. Ya Rabb (O Lord), May You accept it from all of us, granting what we ask in our favor, Ameen Ya Rabb al-`Alameen (May it be so, O Lord of The Worlds).

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا قَرِيبُ الْمُجِيبُ، يَا رَحِيمُ، يَا كَرِيمُ، أَنْتَ دَائِمًا قَرِيبٌ مِنَّا، مُسْتَعِدٌّ لِإِجَابَةِ دُعَائِنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَرَأْفَتِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ الَّذِي لَا حَدَّ لَهُ. إِنِّي أَنْوِي قِرَاءَةَ هَذَا الدُّعَاءِ لَيْسَ لِنَفْسِي فَقَطْ، بَلْ أَيْضًا لِلَّذِينَ جَمَعُوهُ، وَلِلَّذِينَ يُشَارِكُونَهُ وَيَقْرَؤُونَهُ، وَلِلَّذِينَ يَسْتَلِمُونَهُ وَيَقْرَؤُونَهُ. يَا رَبِّ، فَاقْبَلْهُ مِنَّا جَمِيعًا، وَمَنَحْتَنَا مَا نَسْأَلُهُ فِي صَالِحِنَا، آمِينَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Transliteration 

A‘udhu Billahi mina ash-Shayṭān ir-Rajīm 

Bismillāhir Raḥmānir Raḥīm 

Ya Allah, Ya Qarībul Mujīb, Ya Raḥīm, Ya Karīm, Anta daa’iman qareebun minna, musta‘iddun li’ijaabati du‘aa’inaa birahmatika wa ra’fatika wa karamika alladhi laa hadda lahu. Inni anwi qira'at hadha ad-du'a laysa linafsi faqat, bal aydan lilladheena jama‘oohu, wa lilladheena yushaarikoonahu wa yaqra'oonahu, wa lilladheena yastalimoonahu wa yaqra'oonahu. Ya Rabb, faqbalhu minnaa jamee‘an, wa manah'tanaa maa nas’aluhu fi saalihinaa, Ameen ya Rabb al-‘Aalameen.

For Personal Sins

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Dhul-Maghfirah (O Possessor of Forgiveness), Ya Ghāfūr (O Most Forgiving), Ya Ghaffār (O Perpetual Forgiver), Ya Tawwāb (O Acceptor of Repentance), we repent to You and ask You for complete forgiveness for all the sins we committed in the past and those we may commit in the future, from what we have done in private and what we did in the open, and all that You know better than we do.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا ذَا الْمَغْفِرَةِ، يَا غَفُورُ، يَا غَفَّارُ، يَا تَوَّابُ، نَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ غُفْرَانًا تَامًّا لِجَمِيعِ الذُّنُوبِ الَّتِي ارْتَكَبْنَاهَا فِي الْمَاضِي وَالَّتِي قَدْ نَرْتَكِبُهَا فِي الْمُسْتَقْبَلِ، فِيمَا فَعَلْنَاهُ سِرًّا وَمَا فَعَلْنَاهُ جَهْرًا، وَكُلِّ مَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنَّا

Transliteration 

Ya Allah, Ya Dhul-Maghfirah, Ya Ghāfūr, Ya Ghaffār, Ya Tawwāb, natubu ilayka wa nastaghfiruka ghufranan tāmman lijamee‘idh-dhunoobi allatee irtakabnaha fil-maadi wallatee qad nartakibuha fil-mustaqbal, feema fa‘alnahu sirran wa ma fa‘alnahu jahran, wa kulli maa anta a‘lamu bihi minna.

For Sins Committed Against Others

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), we deeply regret, and desperately seek Your forgiveness for all forms of Ẓulm (oppression and injustice) we may have committed against any of Your servants. We ask that You grant them from Your infinite bounty which is never diminished, and we plead that You honor us with Your mercy which encompasses all things.

يَا اللَّهُ، نَتَأَسَّفُ بِشِدَّةٍ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِجَمِيعِ أَنْوَاعِ الظُّلْمِ الَّتِي قَدِ ارْتَكَبْنَاهَا ضِدَّ عِبَادِكَ، وَنَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَمْنَحَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الَّذِي لَا يَنْقَطِعُ، وَنَتَضَرَّعُ إِلَيْكَ أَنْ تُكْرِمَنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي تَشْمَلُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ

Transliteration 

Ya Allah, nate’asafu bishiddah wa nastaghfiruka lijamee‘i anwaa‘i-ẓulmi allatee qadi irtakabnaaha didda ‘ibaadika, wa nas’aluka an tamnahahum min fadlika alladhi la yanqati‘, wa nataḍarra‘u ilayka an tukrimanaa birahmatika allatee tashmalu kulla shay’in.

For Transforming Sins Into Virtues

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Hayy (O Ever-Living), Ya Qayyum (O Self-Sustaining), Bi-Rahmatika (By Your Mercy), we ask of You a special forgiveness that transforms every one of our sins from past, present and future into abundant Ḥasanāt (good deeds). And have those Ḥasanāt magnified and enlarged infinitely without limit.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ نَسْأَلُكَ مَغْفِرَةً خَاصَّةً تُحَوِّلُ كُلَّ ذُنُوبِنَا فِي الْمَاضِي وَالْحَاضِرِ وَالْمُسْتَقْبَلِ إِلَى حَسَنَاتٍ كَثِيرَةٍ. وَاجْعَلْ تِلْكَ الْحَسَنَاتِ مُضَاعَفَةً وَمُتَزَايِدَةً بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

Transliteration 

Ya Allah, Ya Hayy Ya Qayyum, bi-Rahmatika nas’aluka maghfiratan khaasatan tuhawwilu kulla dhunubina fil-maadi wal-haadiri wal-mustaqbali ila ḥasanātin katheera. Waj‘al tilkal-ḥasanāt mudā‘afatan wa mutazāyidatan bighayri hisābin.

For The Concealment of Sinful Acts

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Sattar (O Concealer), we ask You to grant us the concealment and covering up of our sinful acts, so that none amongst Your creation becomes aware of them. Protect us from humiliation, scorn or disgrace because of those deeds.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا سَتَّارُ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِالسِّتْرِ وَالتَّغْطِيَةِ لِأَعْمَالِنَا السَّيِّئَةِ حَتَّى لَا يَطَّلِعَ عَلَيْهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَاحْفَظْنَا مِنَ الْإِهَانَةِ أَوِ السُّخْرِيَةِ أَوِ الذُّلِّ بِسَبَبِ تِلْكَ الْأَعْمَالِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Sattar, nas’aluka an tamunna ‘alaynaa bis-sitri wat-taghtiyati li-a‘maalinaa as-sayyi’ati ḥatta laa yaṭṭali‘a ‘alayhaa aḥadun min khalqika, waḥfaẓnaa minal-ihaanati awis-sukhriyyati awidh-dhulli bisababi tilkal-a‘maal.

For Acceptance and Magnification of Good Deeds

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Shakur (O Most Appreciative) we ask that You purify and accept all of our good deeds, Ya Kareem (O Most Generous), by Your infinite generosity, we ask that You enlarge them - so much so that even a deed as small as a mustard seed may be magnified to fill the space between the heavens and the earth.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا شَكُورُ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُطَهِّرَ وَتَتَقَبَّلَ جَمِيعَ أَعْمَالِنَا الصَّالِحَةِ. يَا كَرِيمُ، بِكَرَمِكَ الَّذِي لَا يَنْفَدُ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُكَبِّرَهَا حَتَّى يَكُونَ الْعَمَلُ الصَّغِيرُ كَحَبَّةِ خَرْدَلٍ مُضَاعَفًا بِحَيْثُ يَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Shakur, nas’aluka an tutahhira wa tataqabbala jami‘a a‘malina as-salihah. Ya Kareem, bi-karamika alladhi la yanfadu, nas’aluka an tukabbiraha hatta yakuna al-‘amalu as-sagheeru ka-habbati khardalin muda‘afan bihaythu yamla’u ma bayna as-samawati wal-ard.

For Overall Health and Well-being

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Lateef (O Subtle, Most Gentle), Ya Shaafi (O He Who Cures), we ask for a complete and thorough cure from all the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual illnesses and diseases – both those we are aware of and currently experiencing, and those we may be unaware of. Remove the pains from our bodies, the worries and stresses from our minds, and the sadness, heartache, and grief from our hearts. Grant us such perfection in our health and well-being that no trace of illness, discomfort, or distress remains.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا لَطِيفُ، يَا شَافِي، نَسْأَلُكَ شِفَاءً كَامِلًا وَشَامِلًا مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْأَمْرَاضِ الْجَسَدِيَّةِ وَالنَّفْسِيَّةِ وَالْعَاطِفِيَّةِ وَالرُّوحِيَّةِ – مِمَّا نَعْلَمُهُ وَمِمَّا لَا نَعْلَمُهُ. أَزِلِ الْآلَامَ عَنْ أَجْسَادِنَا، وَالْقَلَقَ وَالضُّغُوطَ عَنْ عُقُولِنَا، وَالْحُزْنَ وَالْكَآبَةَ وَالْأَسَى عَنْ قُلُوبِنَا. وَمَنَحْنَا كَمَالًا فِي الصِّحَّةِ وَالْعَافِيَةِ حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى أَثَرٌ لِلْمَرَضِ أَوِ الْإِزْعَاجِ أَوِ الضِّيقِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Latīf, Ya Shāfī, nas’aluka shifā’an kāmilan wa shāmilan min jamī‘ al-amrāḍ al-jasadiyyah wa an-nafsiyyah wa al-‘āṭifiyyah wa ar-rūḥiyyah – mimmā na‘lamuhu wa mimmā lā na‘lamuhu. Azil al-ālām ‘an ajasādinā, wa al-qalaqa wa aḍ-ḍughūṭ ‘an ‘uqūlinā, wa al-ḥuzna wa al-ka’ābah wa al-asā ‘an qulūbinā. Wa manḥnā kamālan fī aṣ-ṣiḥḥah wa al-‘āfiyah ḥattā lā yabqā atharun lil-maraḍi aw al-iz‘āji aw aḍ-ḍīq.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, the best protector, and the best helper against those who have harmed us with Hasad (envy), Al-Ayn (the evil eye), or Sihr (black magic). Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Shaafi (O He Who Cures), Ya Hafiz (O  Preserver), Ya Qawiyy (O All Strong), Ya Waliyy (O Protecting Friend), grant us all a complete and thorough cure from all forms, and every effect of envy, the evil eye and black magic. Surround us with Your unmatched and all-encompassing protection. Strengthen us with Your divine safeguarding, ensuring no trace of their effects may touch us or cause us distress. Keep us perpetually under the shade of Your mercy and protection. Indeed, You are the Most Merciful and the bestower of blessings.

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ وَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ عَلَى مَن حَسَدَنَا وَعَيْنَنَا وَسَحَرَنَا. يَا اللَّهُ، يَا شَافِي، يَا حَفِيظُ، يَا قَوِيُّ، يَا وَلِيُّ، نَسْأَلُكَ شِفَاءً كَامِلًا وَتَامًّا مِنْ كُلِّ شَكْلٍ وَأَثَرٍ لِلْحَسَدِ وَالْعَيْنِ وَالسِّحْرِ. أَحِطْنَا بِحِمَايَتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُضَاهَى وَلَا تُخْتَرَقُ، وَقَوِّنَا بِحِرَاسَتِكَ الإِلٰهِيةِ، لِكَيْ لَا يَمَسَّنَا أَوْ يُسَبِّبَ لَنَا أَيَّ ضِيقٍ أَثَرٌ مِنْهُمْ. وَاجْعَلْنَا تَحْتَ ظِلِّ رَحْمَتِكَ وَحِمَايَتِكَ دَائِمًا. إِنَّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَوَهَّابُ النِّعَمِ

Transliteration

Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel, wa ni'mal mawla wa ni'mal naseer, 'ala man hasadana wa 'aynana wa saharana. Ya Allah, Ya Shafi, Ya Hafiz, Ya Qawiyy, Ya Waliyy, nas'aluka shifaa'an kaamilan wa taamman min kulli shaklin wa atharin lil hasadi wal 'ayni was sihr. Aheetna bihimayatikal latee laa tudaahi wa laa tukhtaraq, wa qawwina bihirasatikal ilahiyyah, likay laa yamassana aw yusabbib lana ayyi deeqin atharun minhum. Wajilna tahtazilli rahmatika wa himayatika daaiman. Innaka arhamur raahimeen wa wahhaabul ni'am.

For Victory Over Enemies

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Aziz (O All-Powerful), Ya Qahhar (O Subduer), Ya Nasir (O Giver of Victory), grant us strength and power over our enemies, and complete victory over them, whether they are known to us or hidden from us. Whether they are from among the humans or from among the jinn. Surround us with Your might and authority, and shield us with Your divine protection. Render their schemes ineffective, their plans futile, and their efforts powerless against us. Make us steadfast in righteousness, and grant us victory in ways that are pleasing to You.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا عَزِيزُ، يَا قَهَّارُ، يَا نَاصِرُ، مَنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِالْقُوَّةِ وَالنَّصْرِ عَلَىٰ أَعْدَائِنَا، وَالنَّصْرِ التَّامِّ عَلَيْهِمْ، سَواءً كَانُوا مَعْرُوفِينَ لَنَا أَمْ مَخْفِيَّنِ عَنَّا. سَواءً كَانُوا مِنَ الإِنسِ أَمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ. أَحِطْنَا بِقُوَّتِكَ وَسُلْطَانِكَ، وَحَصِّنَّا بِحِمَايَتِكَ الإِلٰهِيةِ. جَعَلْتَ مَكْرَهُمْ فَاشِلًا، وَخُطَطَهُمْ بَاطِلَةً، وَجُهُودَهُمْ عَاجِزَةً عَنَّا. وَثَبِّتْنَا عَلَىٰ الْبِرِّ، وَمَنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِالنَّصْرِ فِي الطُّرُقِ الَّتِي تَرْضَاهُ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Aziz, Ya Qahhar, Ya Nasir, mann ‘alayna bil-quwwati wal-nasri ‘ala a’dainā, wal-nasri at-tāmi ‘alayhim, sawa'an kānū ma’rūfīn lanā am makhfīn ‘annā. Sawa'an kānū mina al-insi am mina al-jinn. Aheetnā bi-quwwatik wa-sultānik, wa-hassinnā bi-ḥimāyatika al-ilāhīyah. Ja‘alta makrahum fāshilan, wa-khuṭṭatahum bāṭilah, wa-juhūdahum ‘ājizah ‘annā. Wathabbitnā ‘alā al-birr, wa-mann ‘alaynā bin-nasri fi al-ṭuruqi allatī tarḍāh.

For A Pure Heart and Good Character

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Malikul Quddus (O King, the Most Pure), grant us hearts that are pure and sound, free from all anger, malice, jealousy, envy, arrogance, pride, unlawful lust, and greed. Adorn us with the best and most noble character, inspired by Your beloved, Habeebullah, Sultan-ul-Anbiya, Rasoolullah, Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. Fill our hearts with a deep and unwavering love for him. Let this love purify our desires, guide our intentions, and transform our actions into those that are beloved and pleasing to You and Your beloved.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا مَالِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِقُلُوبٍ نَقِيَّةٍ وَسَلِيمَةٍ، خَارِجَةٍ عَنْ كُلِّ غَضَبٍ وَحَقْدٍ وَحَسَدٍ وَكِبْرٍ وَفَخْرٍ وَشَهْوَةٍ حَرَامٍ وَطَمَعٍ. زَيِّنَّا بِأَحْسَنِ الْخُلُقِ وَأَعْظَمِهِ، مُلْهَمِينَ بِحُبِّ حَبِيبِكَ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَسُلْطَانِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَامْلَأْ قُلُوبَنَا بِحُبِّهِ عَمِيقًا وَلَا يَنْقَطِعُ. فَزِدْنَا فِي حُبِّهِ لِيُطَهِّرَ شَهَوَاتِنَا وَيَهْدِي نِيَّاتِنَا وَيُحَوِّلَ أَعْمَالَنَا إِلَى مَا يُحِبُّهُ وَيَرْضَىٰ عَنْهُ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Malikul Quddus, nas’aluka an tamunna 'alayna biquloobin naqiyyah wa saleemah, kharijah ‘an kulli ghadab wa haqd wa hasad wa kibr wa fakhr wa shahwatin haram wa tama’. Zayyinana bi’ahsani al-khuluqi wa a’zamihi, mulhamīn bihubb Habibika Sayyidi al-Mursaleen wa Sultan al-Anbiya, Rasul Allah Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. Wa’mla’ quloobana bihubbihi ‘ameeqan wa la yanqati’. Fazidna fi hubbihi li yutahhira shahwatina wa yahdi niyyatina wa yuhawwila a’malana ila ma yuhibbuhu wa yardaa ‘anhu.

For Attaining Allah's Boundless Love

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Wadud (O Most Loving), grant us Your immense and special love, and pour it within our hearts and entire being. Surround us with it, encompass and envelop us with it, dress us with it, let its beautiful scent emanate strongly from us, and grant it to us without limit.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا وَدُودُ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِمُحَبَّتِكَ الْعَظِيمَةِ وَالْخَاصَّةِ، وَتَجْعَلَهَا فِي قُلُوبِنَا وَفِي جَمِيعِ كِيَانِنَا. أَحِطْنَا بِهَا، وَأَحِطْنَا بِهَا، وَأَلْبِسْنَا إِيَّاهَا، وَاجْعَلْ رِيحَهَا الزَّكِيَّةَ تَفُوحُ مِنَّا بِقُوَّةٍ، وَامْنَحْنَاهَا غَيْرَ مَحْدُودَةٍ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Wadud, nas’aluka an tamunna ‘alayna bimuhabbatika al-‘azeemah wal-khaassah, wa taj’aluha fee quloobina wa fee jamee’ kiyaanina. Aḥiṭnā bihā, wa aḥiṭnā bihā, wa albisnā iyāhā, wa aj‘al reeḥahā az-zakiyyah tafūḥu minnā bi-quwwah, wa’mnaḥnāhā ghayra maḥdoodah.

For the Love and Favor of Rasulullah ﷺ

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Wadud (O Most Loving), grant us an immense and special love from Your most beloved, Habeebullah, Khayr-ul-Khalqillah, Khatam-ul-Anbiya, Sayyidina Muhammad Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. A love so profound that each of our names is permanently present within his pure and perfected heart, and that his Nazar (his loving gaze) remains upon us at all times.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا وَدُودُ، أَعْطِنَا حُبًّا عَظِيمًا وَخَاصًّا مِنْ حَبِيبُ اللَّهِ، خَيْرُ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ، خَاتَمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ، سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. حُبًّا عَمِيقًا حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ أَسْمَاؤُنَا فِي قَلْبِهِ الطَّاهِرِ الْمُكَمَّلِ إِلَىٰ الْأَبَدِ لَا يُزَحْزِحُهُ شَيْءٌ، وَيَبْقَىٰ نَظَرُهُ الرَّحْمَانِيُّ عَلَيْنَا فِي جَمِيعِ أَحْوَالِنَا

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Wadud, a‘ṭinā ḥubban ‘aẓīman wa khāṣṣan min ḥabībillāh, Khayr Khalqillah, Khātam al-Anbiyā, Sayyidinā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh, ṣallā Allāh ‘alayhi wa sallam. Ḥubban ‘amīqan lā yuzahzihu shay’un ḥattā takūna asmā’unā fī qalbihi at-Ṭāhir al-Mukammal ilā al-abad, wa yabqā naẓaruhu ar-Raḥmānī ‘alaynā fī jamī‘i aḥwālinā.

For the Love of Those Whom Allah Loves

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Wadud (O Most Loving), grant us the love of all those who sincerely love You, and all those whom You love, within all creation and within all existence in Your knowledge. As well as the love of those whose love would be advantageous for us in Your divine presence.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا وَدُودُ، أَعْطِنَا حُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ حَقًّا وَحُبَّ مَنْ تُحِبُّهُ، فِي جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ وَفِي جَمِيعِ مَنْ فِي عِلْمِكَ. وَحُبَّ مَنْ يَنْفَعُ حُبُّهُ لَنَا فِي حَضْرَتِكَ الْمُبَارَكَةِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Wadud, a‘ṭinā ḥubb man yuḥibbuka ḥaqqan wa ḥubb man tuḥibbuhu, fī jamī‘i khalqika wa fī jamī‘ man fī ‘ilmika. Wa ḥubb man yanfa‘u ḥubbuhu lanā fī ḥaḍratika al-mubārakah.

For Success, Provision, and Divine Guidance

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Razzaq (O Provider), Ya Kareem (O Most Generous), Ya Fattah (O Opener of Doors), open wide the doors of Your infinite bounty and generosity for us. Grant us immense success in all our monetary, wealth, and business endeavors, and bless every aspect of our financial affairs. Ya Badi’ul Samawati wal Ard (O Originator of the heavens and the earth), orchestrate for us Your divine guidance and support in all our tasks, making the path to our goals smooth and effortlessly attainable. Envelop us in such of Your mercy that we no longer stand in need of the mercies of others, and that our reliance remains solely upon Your boundless grace and favor.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا رَزَّاقُ، يَا كَرِيمُ، يَا فَتَّاحُ، افْتَحْ لَنَا أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ وَجُودِكَ. وَبَارِكْ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ فِي أَمْوَالِنَا وَأَعْمَالِنَا وَرِزْقِنَا. يَا بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَتِّبْ لَنَا مَا يَصْلُحُ لَنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمُورِنَا وَيَسِّرْ لَنَا سُبُلَ النَّجَاحِ وَالْفَتْحِ. وَأَحِطْنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ حَتَّى لَا نَحْتَاجُ لِرَحْمَاتِ غَيْرِكَ وَلْيَكُنْ تَوَكُّلُنَا عَلَى رَحْمَتِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ فَقَطْ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, ya Razzaq, ya Kareem, ya Fattah, iftaḥ lanā abwāba raḥmatika wa faḍlika wa jūdika. Wa bārik fī kulli shay'in fī amwālinā wa a‘mālinā wa rizqinā. Ya Badi‘u as-Samāwāti wal-Ard, rattib lanā mā yaṣluḥu lanā fī kulli umūrinā wa yassir lanā subul an-najāḥi wal-fatḥ. Wa aḥiṭnā biraḥmatika ḥattā lā naḥtāju li-raḥmāt ghayrik wa l-yakun tawakkulunā ‘alā raḥmatika wa faḍlika faqaṭ.

For True Happiness and Contentment

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Hadi (O Guide), Ya Muhaymin (O Guardian), Ya Aziz (O Almighty), grant us true happiness and satisfaction through that which You have made Halal (permissible) for us. Protect us from the whispers of Shaytan (satan) and the pull of our Nafs (lower self) that may lead us to seek false happiness and satisfaction in that which You have made Haram (forbidden) for us. Strengthen our hearts in contentment in what is lawful, and make it a source of tranquility, love, and fulfillment. Let our desires be guided by Your divine wisdom and mercy.

يَا اللَّهُ يَا هَادِي، يَا مُهَيْمِنُ، يَا عَزِيزُ، هَبْ لَنَا سَعَادَةً وَرِضًا حَقِيقِيَّيْنِ فِي مَا حَلَّلْتَ لَنَا. وَقِنَا وَسَاوِسَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَهَوَى النَّفْسِ الَّذِي يَجْذِبُنَا لِسَعَادَةٍ زَائِفَةٍ فِي مَا حَرَّمْتَ عَلَيْنَا. وَقَوِّ قُلُوبَنَا عَلَى الرِّضَا بِمَا حَلَّلْتَ لَنَا وَاجْعَلْهُ مَصْدَرًا لِلطُّمَأْنِينَةِ وَالْمَحَبَّةِ وَالرِّضَا. وَاجْعَلْ رَغَبَاتِنَا مُوَجَّهَةً إِلَى مَا يُرْضِيكَ بِحِكْمَتِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ.

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Hādi, ya Muhaymin, ya ‘Azīz, hab lanā sa‘ādatan wa riḍan ḥaqīqīyyayn fī mā ḥallaltā lanā. Waqinā wasāwisa ash-Shayṭān wa hawā an-nafs alladhī yajdhibunā lis‘ādah zā’ifah fī mā ḥarramt ‘alaynā. Waqawwi qulūbanā ‘alā ar-riḍā bimā ḥallaltā lanā wa aj‘alhu maṣdaran liṭ-ṭuma’nīnah wal-maḥabbah war-riḍā. Waj‘al raghabātinā muwajjihatan ilā mā yurḍīk biḥikmatika wa raḥmatika.

For Sincere Gratitude and Generosity

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Shakoor (O Most Appreciative), Ya Wahhab (O Bestower of Gifts), make us among those who are sincerely grateful to You for all Your countless blessings. We acknowledge Your boundless generosity towards us, so increase us in generosity as well, and include us among those who are truly generous. Inspire our hearts to show this gratitude, not just through words but through our actions. Help us use every blessing and gift You give us in ways that please You.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا شَكُورُ، يَا وَهَّابُ، اجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَشْكُرُونَكَ بِإِخْلَاصٍ عَلَى جَمِيعِ نِعَمِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُعَدُّ وَلَا تُحْصَى. نُقِرُّ بِكَرَمِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُحَدُّ، فَزِدْنَا كَرَمًا أَيْضًا، وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي عِبَادِكَ الْكُرَمَاءِ حَقِيقَةً. أَلْهِمْ قُلُوبَنَا لِنُعَبِّرَ عَنْ هَذَا الشُّكْرِ لَا بِالْكَلِمَاتِ فَقَطْ، بَلْ بِالأَعْمَالِ أَيْضًا. وَأَعِنَّا عَلَى أَنْ نَسْتَعْمِلَ كُلَّ نِعْمَةٍ أَنْعَمْتَ بِهَا عَلَيْنَا فِيمَا يُرْضِيكَ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Shakoor, Ya Wahhab, aj‘alna mina alladhīna yashkuroonaka bi-ikhlāṣin ‘ala jamī‘i ni‘amika allatī lā tu‘addu wa lā tuḥṣā. Nuqirru bikaramika alladhī lā yuḥadd, fazidnā karaman ayḍan, wa adkhilnā fī ‘ibādika al-kuramā’ ḥaqīqatan. Alhim quloobanā linu‘abbira ‘an hādhā al-shukri lā bil-kalimāti faqṭ, bal bil-a‘māli ayḍan. Wa a‘inna ‘ala an nasta‘mila kulla ni‘matin an‘amta bihā ‘alaynā fīmā yurḍīk.

For a Long and Prosperous Life 

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Hayy (O Ever-Living), Ya Qayyum (O Sustainer), Ya Rahman (O Most Merciful), grant us all long prosperous lives filled with immense Barakah (blessings), Khayr (goodness), Mahabbah (love), Salaam (peace), and Ridha (contentment). Let our extended years be spent in perfect obedience to You, under your divine pleasure and satisfaction. Make every moment of our lives a source of benefit for ourselves, our families, our communities, and the Ummah as a whole. Allow our deeds to continually earn Your favor, until we meet You in the best and most honoured of states. Pleasing You and beloved by You.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا حَيُّ، يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا رَحْمَنُ، ارْزُقْنَا جَمِيعًا أَعْمَارًا مَدِيدَةً وَمُزْدَهِرَةً مَمْلُوءَةً بِالْبَرَكَةِ الْوَاسِعَةِ وَالْخَيْرِ وَالْمَحَبَّةِ وَالسَّلَامِ وَالرِّضَا. وَاجْعَلْ سِنِينَا الْمُمْتَدَّةَ فِي طَاعَتِكَ التَّامَّةِ تَحْتَ رِضَاكَ وَفِي مَرْضَاتِكَ. وَاجْعَلْ كُلَّ لَحْظَةٍ مِنْ أَعْمَارِنَا مَصْدَرَ بَرَكَةٍ وَنَفْعٍ لَنَا وَلِعَائِلَاتِنَا وَلِمُجْتَمَعَاتِنَا وَلِلْأُمَّةِ بِأَسْرِهَا. وَاجْعَلْ أَعْمَالَنَا وَلَا يَنْقَطِعُ سَبَبُهَا لِرِضَاكَ حَتَّى نَلْقَاكَ فِي أَحْسَنِ وَأَكْرَمِ حَالٍ، وَأَنْتَ رَاضٍ عَنَّا وَمُحِبٌّ لَنَا

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Hayy, Ya Qayyum, Ya Rahman, urzuqnā jamī‘an a‘māran madīdatan wa muzdaḥiratan mamlū’atan bil-barakati al-wāsi‘ati wal-khayri wal-maḥabbati was-salāmi war-riḍā. Waj‘al sinīnā al-mumtaddata fī ṭā‘atika at-tāmmati taḥta riḍāka wa fī marḍātika. Waj‘al kulla laḥẓatin min a‘mārinā maṣdaran barakatin wa naf‘in lanā wa li-‘ā’ilātinā wa li-mujtama‘ātinā wa lil-ummah bi-asrihā. Waj‘al a‘mālanā wa lā yanqati‘u sababuhā li-riḍāka ḥattā nalqāka fī aḥsani wa akrami ḥālin, wa anta rāḍin ‘annā wa muḥibbun lanā.

For a Good and Righteous Ending 

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Rahman (O Most Merciful), Ya Raheem (O Most Compassionate), after a long, prosperous, and fulfilling life in Your pleasure, grant us a good and righteous ending, free from difficulty, suffering, or pain. Let the time leading up to it, and our final moments be blessed, where we are greeted by the angels of mercy and it is recited to us:

O tranquil soul! Return to your Lord, well pleased with Him and well pleasing ˹to Him˺. So join My servants, and enter My Paradise.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا رَحْمَنُ، يَا رَحِيمُ، بَعْدَ عُمْرٍ مَدِيدٍ وَمُزْدَهِرٍ وَمُمْتَلِئٍ بِرِضَاكَ، ارْزُقْنَا خَاتِمَةً صَالِحَةً وَحَسَنَةً، خَالِيَةً مِنَ الصُّعُوبَةِ وَالْمُعَانَاةِ وَالأَلَمِ. وَاجْعَلْ مَا قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ، وَأَخِرَ لَحْظَاتِنَا، مُمْتَلِئَةً بِالْبَرَكَةِ حَيْثُ يُقَابِلُنَا مَلَائِكَةُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ وَيُقَالُ لَنَا فِي مَقَامِهِ:

يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ * ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً * فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي * وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي.

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Raheem, ba‘da ‘umrin madīdin wa muzdaḥirīn wa mumtali’in bi-riḍāka, urzuqnā khātimatan ṣāliḥatan wa ḥasanatan, khāliyyatan minaṣ-ṣu‘ūbi wal-mu‘ānati wal-alami. Waj‘al mā qablā dhalika, wa ākhira laḥẓātinā, mumtali’atan bil-barakah, ḥaythu yuqābilunā malā’ikatu ar-raḥmāni wa yuqālu lanā fī maqāmihi:

Yā ayyatuha an-nafsu al-muṭma’innah * irji‘ī ilā rabbiki rāḍiyatan marḍiyyah * fa’dkhulī fī ‘ibādī * wa’dkhulī jannatī.

For Comfort and Protection in the Grave

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Waliyy (O Protecting Friend), as we enter our graves, make it a place of ease, happiness, peace, and contentment. Ya Noor (O Light), fill our graves with light, driving away all darkness and loneliness, and make it a garden from the gardens of Jannah (paradise), where we are embraced by Your mercy and favor. Protect us from the trials of the grave and the torment within it, and grant us righteous and loving companionship in there, so we are not alone.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا وَلِيُّ، عِندَمَا نَدْخُلُ قُبُورَنَا، اجْعَلْهَا مَكَانًا لِلرَّاحَةِ وَالسَّعَادَةِ وَالسَّلَامِ وَالرِّضَا. يَا نُورُ، امْلَأْ قُبُورَنَا بِالنُّورِ، وَاطْرُدْ كُلَّ ظُلْمَةٍ وَوَحْشَةٍ، وَاجْعَلْهَا رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، حَيْثُ نُحَاطُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ. احْمِنَا مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِهِ، وَارْزُقْنَا صُحْبَةً صَالِحَةً وَمُحِبَّةً فِيهِ، حَتَّى لَا نَكُونَ وَحْدَنَا

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Waliyy, 'indama nadkhul quburana, aj'alha makan lil-raha wa-sa'adah wa-salam wa-rida. Ya Nur, amla' quburana bin-nur, waṭrud kulla ẓulmat wa wahshat, waj'alha rawdatan min riadi al-Jannah, haythu nuhat birahmatika wa fadlika. Ahmina min fitnati al-qabr wa 'adhabihi, warzuqna suhbatan salihatan wa muhabbatan fihi, hatta la nakuna wahdana.

For Resurrection in Noble Company 

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Maliki Yawmid-Deen (O Master of the Day of Judgment), on the Day of Resurrection, raise us in the company of the Anbiya (Prophets), Awliya (Your close friends), Sidiqeen (the truthful), Shuhada (the martyrs), and Saliheen (the righteous).

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ، فِي يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، ٱبْعَثْنَا فِي صُحْبَةِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْأَوْلِيَاءِ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Māliki Yawmid-Deen, fī Yawmi al-Qiyāmah, ib‘athnā fī ṣuḥbati al-Anbiyā’ wal-Awliyā’ waṣ-Ṣiddīqīn wash-Shuhadā’ waṣ-Ṣāliḥīn.

For Light on the Day of Judgment

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Noor (O Light), make our lights among the brightest on that day, illuminating our path as a clear sign of You honoring us and Your pleasure. Honor us among those most favored and elevated in status before You, clear for all to see.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا نُورُ، اجْعَلْ أَنْوَارَنَا مِنْ أَشَدِّهَا ضِيَاءً فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، تُنِيرُ طَرِيقَنَا كَعَلَامَةٍ وَاضِحَةٍ عَلَى تَكْرِيمِكَ لَنَا وَرِضَاكَ عَنَّا. أَكْرِمْنَا مَعَ أَكْثَرِ الْمُفَضَّلِينَ وَالْمَرْفُوعِينَ مَنْزِلَةً أَمَامَكَ، مَرْئِيَّةً لِلْجَمِيعِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Noor, aj‘al anwārana min ashaddihā ḍiyā’an fī dhālika al-yawm, tunīru ṭarīqanā ka‘alāmatin wāḍiḥatin ‘alā takrīmika lanā wa riḍāka ‘annā. Akrimnā ma‘a akthar al-mufaḍḍalīn wal-marfoo‘īn manzilah amāmak, mar’iyyatan lil-jamī‘.

For Drinking from the Fountain of Kawthar

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), allow us the blessing of drinking from the Haud Al Kawthar (the sacred fountain of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam), and let us experience that moment in his noble company.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، أَذِنْ لَنَا بِبَرَكَتِكَ أَنْ نَشْرَبَ مِنْ حَوْضِ الْكَوْثَرِ، عَيْنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ، وَاجْعَلْنَا نَنَالُ ذَلِكَ الشَّرَفَ فِي صُحْبَتِهِ النَّبَوِيَّةِ الْكَرِيمَةِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, adhin lanā bi-barakatika an nashraba min Ḥawḍ al-Kawthar, ‘ayn Rasūlillahi Ṣallallahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam al-muqaddasah, wa aj‘alnā nanālu dhālika al-sharafa fī ṣuḥbatihi al-nabawiyyati al-karīmah.

For Ease and Comfort on the Day of Judgment 

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), make the Day of Judgment a day of comfort, ease, and joy for us. Grant us shade under Your Arsh (Throne) and reunite us with our loved ones in peace and happiness. When we approach the Sirat (Bridge), let us cross it with ease, in the blink of an eye.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، اجْعَلْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَوْمَ رَاحَةٍ وَيُسْرٍ وَفَرَحٍ لَنَا. وَارْزُقْنَا ظِلًّا تَحْتَ عَرْشِكَ، وَاجْمَعْنَا بِأَحِبَّتِنَا فِي سَكِينَةٍ وَسَعَادَةٍ. وَعِنْدَمَا نَدْنُو مِنَ الصِّرَاطِ، اجْعَلْ عُبُورَنَا سَهْلًا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, aj‘al yawma al-qiyāmati yawma rāḥatin wa yusrin wa faraḥin lanā. Warzuqnā ẓillan taḥta ‘Arshika, wa ajma‘nā bi-aḥibbatinā fī sakīnatin wa sa‘ādah. Wa ‘indamā nadnū mina al-Ṣirāṭi, aj‘al ‘ubūranā sahlān kalamḥi al-baṣar.

For Easy Entry into Jannatul Firdows Al A’la

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Rahman (O Most Merciful), Ya Kareem (O Most Generous), by Your infinite mercy and generosity, grant us easy entry into Jannahtul Firdows Al A’la, the highest and most blessed level of paradise, which is reserved for the best of the believers and Your Awliyah (Friends). Ya Allah, despite our shortcomings, we ask You to grant us this highest station in Jannah solely by Your boundless mercy and generosity, without the need for hardship, suffering, grief, or sadness, either in this life or the next. Let our entry be one of joy, relief, and eternal peace, where we experience the perfection of Your blessings and everlasting comfort, in the company of Your beloved Habeebullah, Sultan-ul-Anbiya, Rasoolullah, Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, along with our family and loved ones.

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا رَحْمَٰنُ، يَا كَرِيمُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَجُودِكَ الْوَاسِعَيْنِ، ارْزُقْنَا دُخُولًا سَهْلًا إِلَى جَنَّةِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ الْأَعْلَى، أَعْلَى دَرَجَاتِ الْجَنَّةِ، الَّتِي خَصَصْتَهَا لِخِيَارِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَوْلِيَائِكَ. يَا اللَّهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَنَا نَقَائِصٌ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَمْنَحَنَا هَذِهِ الْمَنْزِلَةَ الْعَالِيَةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ، دُونَ حَاجَةٍ لِلشَّدَائِدِ أَوِ الْأَحْزَانِ فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا أَوِ الْآخِرَةِ. وَاجْعَلْ دُخُولَنَا مِلْءَ الْفَرَحِ وَالرَّاحَةِ وَالسَّلَامِ الْأَبَدِيِّ، حَيْثُ نَتَمَتَّعُ بِكَمَالِ نِعَمِكَ وَرَاحَتِكَ الْأَبَدِيَّةِ، فِي صُحْبَةِ حَبِيبِكَ، سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَمَعَ أَهْلِنَا وَأَحِبَّائِنَا

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Kareem, bi-raḥmatika wa jūdika al-wāsi‘ayn, arzuqnā dukhūlan sahlān ilā Jannatul Firdaws al-A‘lā, a‘lā darajāt al-Jannah, allatī khaṣaṣtahā li-khiyār al-mu’minīn wa awliyā’ik. Ya Allah, wa in kānat lanā naqā’iṣ, nas’aluka an tamnaḥanā hādhihi al-manzilah al-‘āliyah bi-raḥmatika wa karamika, dūna ḥājatin lil-shadā’id aw al-aḥzān fī hādhihi al-dunyā aw al-ākhirah. Wa aj‘al dukhūlanā mil’a al-faraḥ wa al-rāḥah wa al-salām al-abadī, ḥaythu natamatta‘ bi-kamāl ni‘amika wa rāḥatika al-abadiyyah, fī ṣuḥbat ḥabībika, Sayyidinā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam, wa ma‘a ahlinā wa aḥibbā’inā.

Closing Supplications

#1 

For Acknowledging Allah's Guidance

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Hadi (O Best of Guides), Ya Kareem (O Most Generous), You are the best of guides and the most generous. By Your boundless mercy, we have been guided to this Dua (supplication). Truly, we cannot imagine that after guiding us to it, You would not accept and grant us what we have asked for.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا هَادِي، يَا كَرِيمُ، إِنَّكَ أَفْضَلُ الْهُدَاةِ وَأَكْرَمُ الْمُعْطِينَ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ الْوَاسِعَةِ هَدَانَا إِلَى هَذَا الدُّعَاءَ. إِنَّنَا لَا نَتَصَوَّرُ أَنْ تَهْدِيَنَا إِلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ تَرُدَّنَا خَائِبِينَ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Hādi, Ya Kareem, innaka afdal al-hudāt wa akram al-mu‘ṭīn, bi-raḥmatika al-wāsi‘ah hadānā ilā hādhā al-du‘ā’. Innā lā nataṣawwaru an tahdīnā ilayh, thumma taruddanā khā’ibīn.

For the Connection of Supplication with Worship

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), You are Al-Haq (The Absolute Truth), and what You say is the ultimate truth. In Your glorious Book (Al-Qur’an), You have connected dua (supplication) with worship and commanded us to call upon You:

And your Lord says, “Call upon Me; I will respond to you. Indeed, those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell, humiliated.”

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ. فِي كِتَابِكَ الْعَظِيمِ (الْقُرْآنِ)، قَدْ رَبَطْتَ الدُّعَاءَ بِالْعِبَادَةِ وَأَمَرْتَنَا أَنْ نَدْعُوكَ:

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ٱدْعُونِىٓ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِى سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, innaka Anta Al-Haqq, wa qawluka al-ḥaqq. Fī kitābika al-‘aẓīm (Al-Qur’ān), qad rababta al-du‘ā’ bil-‘ibādah wa amartanā an nad‘ūka:

Wa qāla rabbukum ud‘ūnī astajib lakum, inna alladhīna yastakbirūna ‘an ‘ibādatī sayadkhulūna jahannama dākhirīn.

For Responding to the Call of Allah Through Supplication

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), we have responded to Your call and continue to do so, invoking You by Your most beautiful names, as You have ordered in Your Book (Al-Qur’an):

Say, "Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever [name] you call—His are the [best] names."

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، قَدْ أَجَبْنَا دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَسْتَمِرُّ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، نَدْعُوكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْحُسْنَى كَمَا أَمَرْتَنَا فِي كِتَابِكَ الْعَظِيمِ الْقُرْآنِ:

قُلِ ٱدْعُواْ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدْعُواْ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ ۖ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُواْ فَلَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ

Transliteration

"Ya Allah, qad ajabnā da‘wataka wa nastamirru ‘alā dhālik, nad‘ūka bi-asmā’ika al-ḥusnā kamā amartanā fī kitābika al-‘aẓīm (Al-Qur’ān):

Qul id‘ū Allāha aw id‘ū Al-Raḥmān, ayyamā tad‘ū falahu al-asmā’u al-ḥusnā.

For Acceptance and Granting of the Supplication

English

Ya Allah (O Allah), Ya Mujeeb (O Answerer of Prayers), Ya Ghaffar (O Forgiver), Ya Kareem (O Most Generous), we ask You to accept and fulfill our supplications and grant us all that is in our favor. Make us among those whom, when they call upon You, You respond with immediate fulfillment, and when they request from You, You grant their requests with Your infinite mercy.

Arabic

يَا اللَّهُ، يَا مُجِيبُ، يَا غَفَّارُ، يَا كَرِيمُ، نَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَتَقَبَّلَ وَتُحَقِّقَ دُعَاءَنَا، وَأَنْ تَمْنَحَنَا كُلَّ مَا هُوَ فِي صَالِحِنَا. وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا دَعَوْكَ اسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُمْ فِي الْحَالِ، وَإِذَا سَأَلُوكَ أَعْطَيْتَهُمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الْوَاسِعَةِ

Transliteration

Ya Allah, Ya Mujeeb, Ya Ghaffar, Ya Kareem, nas’aluka an tataqabbala wa tuhakkik du’a’ana, wa an tamnahana kulla ma huwa fi ṣāliḥīn. Wa aj‘alnā mina al-ladhīna idhā da’awka istajabta lahum fī al-ḥāl, wa idhā sa’āluka a’taytahum bi-raḥmatika al-wāsi‘ah.

For the Blessings upon Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ 

English

May Allah send His infinite blessings upon Sayyidina Muhammad, his companions, and all those who follow his righteous path. There is no power and no might except in Allah, the High, the Exalted.

Arabic

وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ. وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ عَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Transliteration

Wa sallallahu  'ala Sayyidinā Muḥammadin  wa 'ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma'een. Wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billahi 'Aliyyul 'Azīm.
